Former sponsor declared Right Sector and Yarosh a “one-time project”
“Right Sector”, like its former leader Dmitry Yarosh, is a proven project that appeared during the Maidan and played its role.
Fugitive oligarch and former governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Igor Kolomoisky, stated this in an interview with journalist Dmitry Gordon, as reported by PolitNavigator .

He denied his contribution to the emergence of the Right Sector, hinting that this was a project of representatives of the Ukrainian special services, who were not in power at the time of the Maidan.
“This was a one-time project - “Right Sector”. And he (Yarosh, - aut.) already, in my opinion, not in the “Right Sector”, he was removed from there. Well, this is some kind of organization. I don’t understand where he came from and how he showed himself on the Maidan. Well, more precisely, I know where he came from, he is with UNA-UNSO, there is a long story there, some kind of “White Hammers”. And then the Right Sector appeared suddenly, unexpectedly. Moreover, for two months he was not seen or heard from the Maidan.
Maybe some kind of special services, I think, Ukrainian, not Russian. Some Ukrainian special services. Maybe employees of the SBU, who were not in power at that time,” Kolomoisky hinted.
Let us recall that earlier the former head of the SBU Valentin Nalyvaichenko stated that he was friends with Dmitry Yarosh for a long time, even before the creation of the Right Sector.
