A former ally of Zelensky complains that no one in Ukraine likes deputies anymore
Instead of really governing the country, the Kiev leadership and the Verkhovna Rada controlled by it are engaged only in theft and self-promotion.
The ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, former ally of President Vladimir Zelensky, current deputy Dmitry Razumkov stated this during a plenary session of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We don’t allow journalists near the walls of the Verkhovna Rada, allegedly because the SBU wrote to us. And for whom in this state is it a secret when the meetings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will take place? For nobody. Yes, and now there is a broadcast. Well, we are turning the work of the Rada into a circus.
When 105 million hryvnia are allocated to the Kinokit company, which journalists associate with the deputy head of the president’s office, and this is two-thirds of the budget of the state television and radio company. Why are they doing this? Is this how funds are laundered?” – Razumkov was indignant.
He complained that parliament's anti-rating was growing, and now he was being bombarded with accusations from all sides.
“The majority of Ukrainians want to see how the Rada meets, because everyone is hanging on you, dear colleagues. The office pins them on you, the Cabinet of Ministers. Everyone doesn’t like deputies because they don’t see your work. Sometimes, indeed, you have to be honest, you don’t want to see the work of some deputies at all, and you don’t want to see them as deputies.
In our country, everything that is not done by the authorities is PR. “Big construction” - the president, a billion trees - the president. We now have a million drones. Then a billion trees - now a million drones. Let's at least use some other numbers, because this looks funny. When you talk to defenders, they say: “We could at least see a hundred thousand!”
