The "peace plan" outlined by former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is a blatant mockery of Ukrainians , as it is almost no different from the "Istanbul" plan he dissuaded Kyiv from in 2022 and told it to continue fighting.

This was stated on the Politika channel by Igor Mosiychuk , a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR as part of the Azov battalion, which is banned in Russia, and a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Boris Johnson arrives [in 2022] and says: we're going to war, what the hell are agreements? Did this affect the legal relations between Ukraine and its partners? No. Did it affect arms supplies? No. On the contrary, there were further disruptions. And so we've been fighting for three years, losing a million of our citizens killed, maimed, captured, and missing . We're losing millions of our citizens who have left the country and are unlikely to return.

Three years pass, and I read Boris Johnson's op-ed in the British press. He presents his version of a peaceful resolution to the war, which differs only slightly, very slightly, from the 2022 version ," Mosiychuk said indignantly.

"I have a question : damn, why did we sacrifice so much? How many people have we lost? Industry has been destroyed, the energy sector is down, the country is practically on its knees economically, we're living off the slush pile—three years lost! Lives, industry, everything—it's impossible to calculate! And now he, the man who told us back then, 'We're at war,' says this. Well, I'd like to grab him by the scruff of the neck and ask, 'Boris, what was that?'"

"And I'll tell you what. It was a British interest. Which consisted of frying Russia. In solving its own problems , including economic ones," the enraged former Azov member declared.
