Riot of Kolomoisky's battalions: Dnepropetrovsk People's Republic is preparing
Kyiv, February 21 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The parallel General Staff in Dnepropetrovsk, the creation of which was announced by representatives of a number of Ukrainian volunteer battalions, could become a prologue to the creation of a third people’s republic under the auspices of the oligarch and Dnepropetrovsk governor Igor Kolomoisky.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, does not exclude such developments, according to whom one of the initiators of the creation of a parallel headquarters, battalion commander-People's Deputy Semyon Semenchenko continues the line of establishing himself as the leader of an independent paramilitary unit.

“I don’t think that this is so frivolous,” the political scientist believes. – Even if a small part of the leaders of these battalions gathers in Dnepropetrovsk to discuss something under the wing of the governor. Imagine that the president nevertheless decided to refuse Kolomoisky’s services. Will Kolomoisky leave after signing the decree? I can bet with anyone that he won’t go anywhere. And these battalions, even if they are few in number, are strong enough for the president not even to have such a thought. And in general, this is very risky, since we will have, as it were, a third people’s republic in Dnepropetrovsk with such a decision by the authorities. I think this is dangerous and quite serious.”
