The guns will speak: an unkind May is turning into a hot June for Ukraine
The conflict in Ukraine will end no sooner than in six to eight months, political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated on the "Vyshka" video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"For now, in the coming months, the decision will, unfortunately, be made on the battlefield. That is, as we predicted earlier, a harsh May will turn into a very hot June, coupled with mounting economic difficulties . By autumn, we may find ourselves in a situation where we will have to reconsider our position on negotiations and the possibility of a ceasefire. But we still have to survive the next few months before that happens," the expert said.

"But in the next few months, the guns will be talking. In the fall and spring, analysts working for transnationals [predict that] a possible exit from the war will be in the fall-winter, May-June 2025. That is, approximately a period of six to eight months. This is the period when they believe the guns may fall silent . Let's not speculate on what terms; negotiating positions will determine military action now," Zolotarev stated.
