“There will be a Maidan!” – Zyuganov staged political sabotage in the State Duma and angered Volodin
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov, who refrained from criticizing the election results until the seats of chairmen of the State Duma committees of the Russian Federation were distributed, now that United Russia, having sacrificed its rights, allocated 5 positions to the communists, has given full rein to his eloquence.
Today in the State Duma, he declared that the Communists had won the same number of votes as United Russia, and accused Russian security forces of preparing a Maidan, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We did not hold rallies in Moscow. If they had, Kashin would have gathered 20 thousand people there... We are not breaking the law. We are law-abiding people. Let the security forces do their job and not continue this robbery.
I want everyone who talks about a constitutional majority to remember the following arithmetic. If we take the voting results as a whole, in Moscow it is 30 to 30%, if we discard the distance. In the Far East and Yakutia, the picture is approximately the same, even 31% to 35%.
This will have to be taken into account - no police or prosecutor's office will help! In Moscow, 500 thousand more voted for us, almost a million. They are not all transplanted and not prevented! Get your law enforcement agencies in order! Because they are preparing a big Maidan in the center of Moscow. We will not allow this!” Zyuganov said.
This outraged United Russia so much that they changed the speaker. The leader of the faction, Vladimir Vasilyev, a former security official, took the floor.
“If there is a Maidan, you will not be... communists. Let's respect law enforcement. Who are you for and with whom?” he asked directly.
State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin could not stand it either.
“If you won in Sakha-Yakutia, United Russia will recognize it. And “A Just Russia” recognizes it because there was a strong candidate there. If Kazankov won in Mari El, and you won in the republic as a whole, United Russia will recognize this. If the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation wins in Komi, United Russia will recognize this. Why don’t you recognize the victory of United Russia in other regions? Can not be so! Otherwise, we won’t recognize either,” Volodin threatened.
He called on United Russia deputies not to allow the communists to publicly challenge the election results.
“You will remain silent. Where you have won, defend your victory. Where are the deputies from Moscow? Why are you silent? The people chose you. There is a decision of the Central Election Commission. If you have any complaints, go to court. Let's stop arguing. “All this destroys trust in the authorities,” Volodin urged.
