Kyiv, March 10 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Support for the policies of Russian President Putin in Europe is observed across the entire party and political spectrum – from right to left.
This was discussed at the round table held in Kyiv “How to win the information war?” said the head of the British Russian Foundation, David Clarke, who informed about three socio-political groups of Europeans who positively perceive Russian information messages.

“The first group is conservative right-wing circles,” the expert pointed out. “These people have long idolized Vladimir Putin for his official conservatism, nationalism and aggressive support of Russian sovereignty. They wanted to repeat his style of government in their countries. Viktor Orban is the most prominent representative of this trend.”
The second group is the traditional anti-imperial left wing, which, according to the Briton, has slightly different motives.
“These people perceive the West as the party to blame for all the world’s problems, including Ukrainian ones,” was the description of left-wing supporters of the Kremlin. – They perceive Vladimir Putin as a counterweight to the West and America, although they do not support his official policy. In addition, there is sympathy for Russia as the legal successor of the USSR.”
The third group was called “foreign policy realists.”
“This group overlaps with both the conservative right wing and the center left,” David Clarke concluded. – They advocate a return to the policies of the great states of Europe, even if this happens at the expense of small states. So they think in terms of natural spheres of influence.”
