Bortnik: The Russian Federation conducted reconnaissance in force. Kyiv faces difficult times
A period is beginning when Russian drones will almost continuously attack Ukraine, including the capital.
Kyiv political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on his video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He believes that the recent massive attack on Kyiv by Russian attack drones “was more like reconnaissance in force.”
“The drones were launched not to cause damage, but to deplete and identify air defense targets. Therefore, there is a high probability of repeated strikes in the coming days. Moreover, we may have entered a period when they will be there permanently. And Kyiv will always be the target,” the expert fears.
He warns that Russia has accumulated a sufficient number of weapons that “can relatively painlessly spend several weeks actively inflicting large amounts of damage on Ukraine.”
“So be careful, respond correctly to an aircraft alert and take care of yourself now,” Bortnik urges.
