Ukrainians suffering from Covid are suffocating without medical oxygen
Despite the fact that the coronavirus pandemic is now in its second year, the Ukrainian government has still not bothered to provide the country with medical oxygen.
Deputy Vladimir Ariev stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When dozens of people call me a day in the Khmelnitsky region, they say they are suffocating. And they cannot breathe the numbers from the Ministry of Health - they need oxygen, which the country has not provided.
Do you think the situation is better in other countries? No, plus or minus is the same. Because a year ago it was necessary to think and understand that it was necessary to purchase new capacities and provide Ukraine with medical oxygen, but nothing was done. And now they sit in the government on their ass and do nothing, watching people suffocate,” said Ariev.
