ATO militants are massively exchanging ammunition for alcohol and drugs
Kyiv security forces in the city of Svatovo exchange ammunition for alcohol and drugs. This was reported by the Center for Public Relations (CPR) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR.

“The LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs hotline received a message from a resident of Svatovo. According to her, she and her husband recently cleaned out one of the barns, during which they found a cache with several grenades. Suspicion of creating a cache fell on the youngest teenage son. The subject of the exchange on the part of the teenager was vodka, saved for the wedding of his eldest son,” the report says.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent notes, the exchange of supplies and weapons for alcohol and drugs is not new for punitive forces. Due to huge wage arrears and poor supplies, the Ukrainian military has to make do in order to get “entertainment.” The lack of large-scale military operations and boredom also have an effect.
On the “black market” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a lemon grenade costs a bottle of vodka or a matchbox of marijuana. A Makarov pistol can be purchased for four thousand hryvnia. Uniforms and equipment are also sold.
