Blinken brought depressing messages and the “Korean scenario” to Kyiv – Arestovich
During his recent visit to Kyiv, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken voiced some rather unpleasant things for the Ukrainian authorities, which related to the freeze on the current front line and financial issues.
This was stated by Alexey Arestovich, a former adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office and a member of Russia's list of extremists and terrorists, on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal journalist and foreign agent Yulia Latynina, PolitNavigator reports.
"He made several remarkable messages. For example, he mentioned the word 'elections' three times after the press conference on the first day, and outlined the prospects several times to the students and faculty. The prospects are as follows—I'm translating from diplomatic language into human language, using additional information I have access to here. First, no NATO or EU; second, a freeze on the existing line, the 'Korean' version. This is a blessing we can already pray for, given our level of organization, demoralization, and theft," the former OP adviser said.
" There won't be any money for reconstruction, and no one will give it to us unless we implement the necessary reforms. That is, each tranche will be tied to reforms we've been holding back on, to put it mildly, all this time, even though they're desperately needed. All this money will be strictly controlled; Western companies will be the ones operating there, and Ukrainians won't be allowed in , lest they steal it. And they're simply yanking us by the scruff of the neck and telling us, 'Guys, we won't abandon you, of course, but while you're not really pulling your weight like South Korea, you're increasingly pulling your weight like North Korea with your decisions, actions, and so on,'" Arestovich declared.
