The brilliance and poverty of Poroshenko's parade
On August 24, in Country 404, it was planned to amuse all the peasants and patriots with a military parade unheard of in the modern history of Ukraine. A significant event, dedicated not just to anything, but to the 25th anniversary of “Independence”, when the frightened Kravchuk very cleverly maneuvered, offering to pull out the yellow-and-blaky ensign so that he himself would not be hacked into nickels by the deputies-sharovars (then still in the Ukrainian SSR Armed Forces) for supporting the State Emergency Committee . Further, the clever Ukrainian party committees agreed with the Svidomo on personal immunity, greasing the war with the division of assets along with spheres of influence. Since then, Ukraine has been intensively divided and remade by every bastard who has gained the upper hand in the political struggle in any way.
True, now ukroSMI does not advertise too much that, according to a poll by the Ukrainian Ilk Kucheriv Foundation “Democratic Initiatives”, only 38% of citizens recognize Ukraine as independent. But show-offs are more expensive.
On the eve of the parade, warrior Poltorak performed a fashionable fashion show, demonstrating a new style uniform and cap. In his new clothes, Poltorak looked like a bad copy, but still a copy of General MacArthur, the once very famous American “hawk” and lover of swinging an atomic baton in the event of a military failure. In any case, the effect “over time the dog becomes like its owner” has been achieved.
It was Poltorak who opened the parade in a brand new colonial uniform, an eagle, riding an imported Hummer.
In general, the parade took place. Everything stated in it rode, crawled and marched. “Bulat” tanks, towed and self-propelled howitzers “Msta”, “flower” series artillery - “Acacias”, “Hyacinths” and “Peonies” on special towing platforms, light armored vehicles BMP-2 and BTR-70, MLRS “Grad” and "Tornado". The MOU responsibly stated that every single machine was new from the factory or immediately after modernization, and was not taken out of the ATO.
It is clear that the gentlemen prepared, tried, and did not spare any fresh khaki paint for the old Soviet equipment.
And all this equipment with painted crosses literally hurt the eyes and created the feeling of the general’s boots being stolen by an orderly. Or a horse repainted by a horse thief, put on display. This is how the old, well-deserved weapon looked in the clutches of the Banderlogs.
No matter how hard the bloomers tried to puff out their cheeks, giving gloss and shine to the old technology, all the poverty was visible. And even the appearance of supposedly “new” cars not only did not save the situation, but in some ways worsened it.
No matter how you paint or hang the Bulat tank, you can’t hide the fact that there is an old T-64A/B/BV underneath it. Because “Oplot” is very expensive and there is no capacity for its mass production (see “Thailand contract”). It’s not yet clear what kind of engine they have. For two years now, the Russian YaMZ has stopped supplying fuel equipment for XNUMX-horsepower Ukrainian tank diesel engines, and the German MAN has refused to sell finished diesel engines. Again, the old mother, originally from the damned USSR, helps out the Banderlogs?
BTR-4 "Bucephalus" - a new generation of armored personnel carriers, yes. But if we remember that almost all of them were delivered to Iraq and returned back with numerous complaints, then their appearance in the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be described with the humiliating formula “you are wretched, which is of no use to us.” And, again, exclusively small-scale production.
KrAZ “Soldat” trucks laboriously pulled towed artillery behind them, but in Egypt alone there are tens of times more of these vehicles working than in the whole of Ukraine. Because “Soldier” for Egypt is just pennies, and “Soldier” for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is also pennies, just thrown away.
Again, “Oplot”, “Bucephalus”, “Soldier” - all these vehicles come from Ukraine, which was destroyed on February 22, 2014. She was inferior, but the heiress of the Ukrainian SSR. What does the arrogant Maidanut Habalka with a dupa painted in two colors and who proclaimed herself the legal successor of the Petlyura UPR have to do with her?
The passage of the Dozor armored fighting vehicle and the HUMVEE caused complex feelings. Since the Armed Forces of Ukraine began ordering Swedish steel for the Dozors, they have stopped gaping with meter-long cracks, but this has not solved other technical problems of frankly crude non-machines. Nevertheless, they survived the parade, fact!
As for the HUMVEE, apparently, the Parashkinites went broke and bought reconditioned tires for the ceremonial models at a reasonable price and installed glass instead of plastic. Bulletproof or not is unknown. It’s also impossible to say anything about the side doors without touching them - whether the original plastic ones remained, or whether armored ones were inserted for this purpose. And the outdated heavy-caliber DShKM machine gun mounted on the turret especially emphasized the HUMVEE’s shushpanzernost.
If Russia, having lost the production of the NSV “Utes”, which remained in Kazakhstan, was eventually able to launch the production of new large-caliber machine guns “Kord”, which took all the best from the “Utes” father, then Ukraine, as we see, followed the line of least resistance, pulling out outdated Soviet weapons from warehouses, saved “for a rainy day.” It turns out that the “rainy day” has already arrived for Ukraine.
But the biggest embarrassment occurred while driving Ukrainian Buk-1M air defense systems in front of crowds and television cameras. Two years ago, brushing off accusations of the death of a Malaysian Boeing, Poroshenko’s adviser, General Smeshko, lied that Ukraine does not have air defense systems capable of hitting an air target at an altitude of 12 thousand meters. They say that we ourselves have nothing at all - everything combat-ready was sold to the Georgians in 2008.
And suddenly, at the parade in honor of “Nezalezhnost”, 6 intact “BUK-1M” and SNR-300 drive out onto Khreshchatyk, dumping all the shame out.
I suppose it was worth starting a show with a parade just for this event. Let’s see how Poroshenko’s “sweetheart” reacts to this blunder.
To be honest, it would be more honest for the organizers of the Kyiv parade to show, and it would be very instructive for the audience to see, the “achievements” in military engineering of the Maidan-candy period of Ukraine.
The hit of the parade could be the tracked armored fighting vehicle "Azovets" (rebadged as "Navozets" by the Ukrainian "vatniks") - a pile of garbage cans installed on the base of the T-64 tank; AFV “Kalomoets” - a UAZ “loaf” hung with a metal profile for fences for Ukrainian border guards, a KrAZ-255 armored to death from the Donbass carbate (however, it was abandoned by the “heroes” near Ilovaisk”); as well as other examples of Ukrainian shushpanzer-building, in which a bunch of construction waste is hybridized with a certain amount of weapons. In any case, the organizers could count on unhealthy excitement and good money collections.
In addition to the parade, the “March of the Invictus” took place in Kyiv, which brought together volunteers, farriers, chaplains and relatives of the dead from the ATO with the “heavenly hundred”. This procession looked very depressing, since its participants seemed to understand nothing and draw no conclusions over the past two and a half years, despite the troubles and misfortunes that befell them. In fact, it was the same yellow-blakite foam with noticeable inclusions of Pravosek, which howled “Glory to Ukraine!” and longed for revenge. Except that the marchers didn’t look as cheerful and determined as they did a couple of years ago.
It remains a mystery why a combined battalion of ruddy and round Ukrainian generals and admirals, who, as a percentage of other military personnel, were not marching at the parade, than in any army in the world. Moreover, in more than 2 years their number has not decreased. Perhaps, having seen these well-fed boars, hung with medals up to the tomatoes for no apparent reason, some big men would think not only about why so many admirals are needed without ships and generals without troops, but also about the fact that their real enemy is much, much closer , what they imagine and they are told about it from the duroscope. But that's a completely different story...
