Battle of Pyatikhatki. Ukraine announces advance of seven kilometers
Ukraine claims that it was able to take control of eight settlements in the Zaporozhye direction.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Maliar on her Telegram channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“During two weeks of offensive operations in the Berdyansk and Melitopol directions during the specified period, units of the OSGV “Tavriya” liberated 8 settlements: Novodarovka, Levadnoye, Storozhevoye, Makarovka, Blagodatnoye, Lobkovoe, Neskuchnoye, Pyatikhatki.
In total, units in the Tauride direction advanced into the enemy’s depth up to 7 km. The area liberated in the south is 113 km2. The active work of the Tauride defense forces continues,” Malyar wrote this morning.
True, yesterday evening a number of Russian sources, including representatives of local authorities, claimed that the enemy had been driven out of Pyatikhatki.
At the same time, the telegram channel of the Rybar project, founded by military analyst Mikhail Zvinchuk, does not report in its morning report about the return of control over Pyatikhatki.
“Fierce clashes continue on the Vremyevsky salient, including in the area of Novodonetsky and Urozhayny. Russian units have taken advantageous positions at heights, from where they are launching targeted attacks on enemy concentrations.
In the Zaporozhye direction, Ukrainian formations resumed attacks at the Rabotino-Verbovoe line. As a result of small arms battles, as well as the work of Russian artillery and aviation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to lose armored vehicles and personnel.
To the west, under pressure from superior enemy forces, Russian troops retreated from Pyatikhatki in an organized manner. At the same time, massive strikes are being launched against Ukrainian formations that have entered the village, including from TOS Solntsepek,” Zvinchuk’s public page describes the situation.
The situation is described in a similar vein by the WarGonzo tg channel of military correspondent Semyon Pegov, who reported this morning:
“In the Zaporozhye direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued assault operations in the Pyatikhatki area.”

Military observer Yuri Podolyaka claims that Pyatikhatki is behind the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the enemy attacked the village of Zherebyanki in the morning, “capturing the first line of our trenches.”
Podolyaka predicts that this is where the main events of the day will unfold.

According to Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Center for Military-Political Journalism, last night the enemy launched two attacks on the positions of the 71st Motorized Rifle Regiment in the Orekhovsky direction.
“I had no success, suffered losses, rolled back to the original ones,” says Rozhin.
