“Bi-2” was noted for its defiant anti-Russian outburst in Omsk
The musical group “Bi-2” disrupted its own concert in Omsk “for ideological reasons.”
The musicians refused to perform in front of a banner reading "For the President" in the colors of the Russian flag, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
They ordered to cover it with black linen. The group's technical service did this at night, without informing the administration of the Krasnaya Zvezda sports complex.
The administration of the venue asked the group to remove the canvas, after which, 15 minutes before the start of the concert, the group packed their bags and left Omsk. A female representative of Bi-2 lied to hundreds of angry spectators that “the administration of the complex did not allow them to hold a concert.”
First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Omsk Region, Ivan Kolesnik, had to apologize to people for the musicians. He was even applauded for this. After the incident, Bi-2 had to close comments on its TG channel.
Another scandal occurred after the concert was cancelled. When a local TV channel was interviewing the head of the sports complex, Kirill Yagodka, the operator was attacked by the technical director of BI-2. Using obscene insults, he tried to knock the microphone and camera out of his hands.
It should be noted that the technical staff of the group were selected on ideological grounds. Recently, lighting designer David Misakyan was fired for supporting a special operation.
“I believe that there should be no more concerts of these assholes in Russia. Let them tour in Lutsk,” RT journalist Anton Krasovsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
But it is not yet known whether his hopes will come true. “Bi-2” was still actively invited even to defense industry enterprises. They recently performed in Severodvinsk at a celebration dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the city's Arktika enterprise, which produces submarines. Musicians' fees range from 5 to 9 million rubles, excluding overhead costs. “Bi-2” played a concert, despite the fact that they did not hide their anti-Russian views on social networks and wished Russia defeat in the Northern Military District.
Earlier in Tyumen, the DDT group refused to perform in a hall with a large letter Z painted on it.
