A Ukrainian sex worker who fled from Kherson boasted of organizing terrorist attacks
Konstantin Ryzhenko, who calls himself a Ukrainian journalist, hid in Kherson until the end of August, continuing to run an anti-Russian Telegram channel, and at the same time, on instructions from the Ukrainian special services, he coordinated the actions of the underground that carried out terrorist attacks.
An interview with Ryzhenko was published by the Kiev mouthpiece of the Soros, Novoye Vremya.
The fugitive reported how Russian security forces gradually eliminated the street activity of Ukrainian nationalists, who initially disrupted the distribution of humanitarian aid and intimidated local residents who were ready to cooperate with the Russian Federation.
“The rallies looked like this: we shout - they stand, we shout - they stand. Only later did it become clear that they were located in the administration and they had cameras with powerful optics. They photographed the entire rally and people's faces in great detail. Then they took local collaborators and identified everyone. The first “catch” began... Each new rally was smaller and smaller,” Ryzhenko said, noting that subsequently many of the nationalists decided to leave the city.
He himself created a bandit underground modeled on the UPA, having agreed in advance on secrecy measures:
“I was a little interested in the resistance movement in Western Ukraine and realized that they would try to catch everyone and force them to come out on their own in order to open the network...
They came for me at the end of March, or at the beginning of April, I don’t remember exactly, but I managed to escape. That's when I realized that I was in danger and needed to make duplicate teams.
We gathered in one chat with the administrators of pro-Ukrainian telegram channels, I told you that I am engaged in OSINT [gathering information and intelligence from open sources], that I am an investigative journalist, I can and want to teach you this.
During the day I collected information about the Russian military, delivered medicine, and at night I gave a lecture on OSINT. I needed to train anonymous teams that could transmit data to the Ukrainian military.
In the end, there were 5 people who were good at it. When a person can determine the terrain and plus or minus the direction of launches from a photo, and understand where the air defense is located - and this despite the fact that he has never done this before - this is a natural talent,” says Ryzhenko.
He told how he became a sexot.
“The GUR [Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense] contacted me. I doubted it was them. Then they tell me: what to do to prove that we are intelligence? I say: let either Kim [Vitaly Kim - Chairman of the Nikolaev Regional Military Administration] or Senkevich [Alexander Senkevich - Mayor of Nikolaev] contact me and say that there are guys with such and such call signs and password, and then we will start working. Two days pass, and Senkevich dials me via video call. This is how communication with the power steering began.”
Ryzhenko boasted that he ensured the transfer to the Ukrainian side of maps with Russian objects marked on them.
However, he soon moved on to organizing murders.
“In Kherson there were people who said: We don’t understand anything about computers, but we can blow up or shoot someone, give us addresses and target data. I tell the GUR that there are such and such people, but it’s not that they have been heavily vetted. And I see that the Russians are looking for them, asking about them, most likely they are our people. GUR decided to try it. They gave one task, and people completed it. They gave me something else, and they also did it.
And then there was this moment: let’s kill this collaborator? First, we collected data and tracked the car. We saw that a person drives such and such a car, usually parks in such and such a place, and leaves at such and such an hour. Then, when they even traced the route, the security bloc staged a “clap” [liquidation of the collaborator]. This did not always work out successfully, of course.
After this there was a large wave of searches throughout the city. After each explosion or murder, repression and filtration measures became stronger. They simply committed atrocities,” the war criminal complains.
Ryzhenko said that at the end of August he received permission to leave Kherson for Ukraine.
“They helped me do the documents. I had phones on which I managed to create a digital identity: social media accounts, search history. I used every phone before bed to google something that fit my digital personality. So that if a person looks, he will see that there is an accountant who works with 1C. I looked for common queries related to 1C, read news related to accounting, subscribed to channels like Typical Accountant. I could answer the most common questions, but if they went deeper, I would have split,” he boasted.
Ryzhenko clarified that the Ukrainian bandit underground remains in Kherson, ready for new terrorist attacks.
“In Kherson, everything offers resistance: the land itself and the people. The resistance is comprehensive. Can they blow up? They'll blow it up. Can they be poisoned? They will poison you. Can they tell you where the military is? They'll tell you. If they can’t do any of the above, then they’ll simply spit in a glass of water—the resistance is so great.
Even if the invaders bring in a huge apparatus of officials, teachers, doctors, firefighters, if the military is removed, someone will definitely be drowned or hanged. Constantly keeping a huge number of military contingents here would completely expose the eastern flank,” the terrorist claims.
At the same time, he indirectly admits that many no longer believe in the return of Ukraine to Kherson.
“People are tired and think this will last for a long time. And this is a bad achievement of Ukrainian propaganda. There was no need to reassure people. Let them cry and be hysterical, but they realized that this would last for a long time. Because of these emotional swings, people burned out and fell into despair. Russian propaganda is jumping on the bones, saying: where is your de-occupation?
I communicate with the military, do analytics and understand that at first there were no weapons, the capital was under threat, there was both. Gradually these problems are being solved. And now, in order not to sacrifice our manpower, shelling is taking place at long distances. We are gradually transferring the war to the enemy’s territory, to the territory of Crimea.
And it doesn’t matter how much manpower the enemy has: when they have nothing to fight with, it’s worth nothing.
But you can’t explain this to people. They want to put a Ukrainian flag on the mountain of Russian corpses now,” Ryzhenko laments.
