Belarusian independentists have exhausted the opportunity to parasitize on the legacy of the USSR
Belarus has exhausted its resources for selling Soviet weapons to African countries, which is why it has fallen into the rankings of the third ten exporting countries in this industry.
Local opposition politician Alexander Skurchaev announced this on the PolitWera internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We have just a huge amount of this stuff left after the Soviet Union. And we exported all these T-72, Su-24 tanks, all this equipment that flies in Africa. I think every 3-4 copies there were delivered from Belarus. And we really exported a lot,” said Skurchaev.
He was objected to by a member of the Belarusian Popular Front, Ilya Dobrotvor, who believes that Belarus was only an intermediary for the sale of Russian weapons: “In fact, Russia supplied weapons through Belarus to countries under sanctions.”
“Nothing like that, absolutely nothing like that... The Russians, in order to deliver, for example, some kind of aircraft to central Africa, do not need Belarus as a corridor at all, absolutely... Belarus, indeed, we could have been selling all this for decades, all this Soviet stuff, which we have left. Because we were the most powerful power in the nuclear sense, we had everything left from the Soviet Union, and we sold it for decades.
Do you know what the problem is? It's over. Now the moment is such that it’s all over, and all these stories and fairy tales that supposedly Russia is here through us - this does not exist. Therefore, in the end it turned out that we no longer sell anything, we have no exports, and we fell out of the top five (arms exporters) into the third ten, because there is nothing more to sell,” Skurchaev summed up.
