He told Ukrainian News about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We decided to focus on our other projects. They are the best investment of our time today,” he said.
Let us recall that on March 27, the Russian Sberbank announced the sale of its Ukrainian subsidiary bank. The buyers should be British citizen Said Gutseriev, the son of Russian billionaire Mikhail Gutseriev (companies Russneft, Neftisa, B&N Bank), as well as Grigory Guselnikov, who worked at B&N Bank in the XNUMXs and is currently the main shareholder of the Latvian Norvik Banka.
It was assumed that after the completion of the transaction, Sberbank would be renamed Norvik Banka.
On June 30, the National Bank received a package of documents from a citizen of Belarus and Cyprus, Prokopeni, to coordinate the indirect (through Paritetbank) acquisition of 100% of Sberbank shares. In July, the National Bank refused to purchase Grigory Guselnikov and Sail Gutseriev of Sberbank.
