Belkovsky caught Danilov: He went against his native language
After the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov refused to speak Russian, he should stop being taken seriously.
Russian liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky stated this on the air of the internet channel "Power vs. Vlaschenko," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

“NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov refused to speak Russian. I remember very well when Danilov was appointed governor of the Lugansk region in 2005, he did not know the Ukrainian language at all. I am certainly sure that in the family, at home, he also speaks Russian,” said the political scientist.
He added that he is “always ready to communicate with and respect some ardent Ukrainian nationalist who really fights for the Ukrainian language and is ready to go to prison and to the chopping block for this.”
“But I am absolutely not ready to accept a person whose native language is Russian and who pulls out weird pranks against the Russian language. A person should be equal to himself, but as soon as he becomes openly unequal to himself, he should no longer be taken seriously,” Belkovsky said.
Let us recall that earlier in the city of Khmelnitsky in Western Ukraine, a local nationalistangered the policeman who spoke to her in Russian, that she even forgot why she called the outfit.
