Zelensky's flight from the Russians in Turkey is a very bad sign
President-elect Vladimir Zelensky did not give an interview to journalists from the Rossiya 1 TV channel on the issue of Donbass during his holiday in Turkey.
This may indicate that he is not an independent figure and is not ready to present a plan for a peaceful resolution of the situation.
This opinion was expressed on the Rossiya 1 TV channel by Russian senator Franz Klintsevich and Kiev journalist Alexander Chalenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to save people. And in this case, I had hope that Zelensky would still save people. Maybe this is illiterate picketing for now, because the State Department controls Zelensky’s team quite seriously, and so far he hasn’t said anything himself, which is why he refuses to give an interview because he’s afraid of harming something. This is very bad, this is a bad sign.
As the elected president, he has the right to everything. In the conditions in which he was interviewed, he must understand that he is the elected president and will be found everywhere, no matter what condition he is in, because he is a super-media person and must be ready even in shorts,” noted Klintsevich.
“We understand perfectly well that Zelensky was elected for fun. He was Tymoshenko’s technical candidate, hired by Kolomoisky, and suddenly his ratings began to rise. He does not have a position on Donbass, he could publish, he could come out with a program “10 points on Donbass”, he could write from the beach: “Vladimir Vladimirovich, the fate of Donbass is in our hands, I propose point one, two, three, four, fifth". Where is it? No. That’s it,” added Chalenko.
