Bandera propaganda turned out to be powerless against the Russians of Ukraine
The vast majority of Ukrainians who identify as Russians do not believe Kyiv’s propaganda about “Russian aggression in the Donbass.”
The head of the Center for Progressive Communications, Evgeniy Onishchuk, stated this during a conference in Kharkov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Onischuk presented data from the Ukrainian-Estonian study “Resilient Ukraine”.
It turned out that among those surveyed in the Kharkov and Kyiv-controlled parts of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, 22 percent of respondents consider the war in Donbass to be “a new business of the oligarchs.”
There are fewer supporters of the version that the conflict is a “hybrid war of Russia against Ukraine”, 20%, despite the efforts of the Ukrainian propaganda machine.
“On each slide we will recall a category that took first place in the total of three areas - “new business of oligarchs,” but it should be taken into account that during the surveys we asked the respondent to indicate his personal vision of nationality. And the answer “new business of the oligarchs” is typical for citizens who consider themselves Russian by nationality, and Ukrainians are more inclined to the option of a hybrid war between Russia and Ukraine,” the propagandist admitted.
At the same time, according to research, the closer to the front, the less respondents believe the rhetoric of the Ukrainian media.
“Let's look at the city, which is located in the “red zone” at a distance of 10 kilometers from the contact line in the Donetsk region...
In this case, it is quite unpleasant to see that 38 percent of respondents consider the events in eastern Ukraine to be a civil war. 22 percent consider “a new business of the oligarchs”, 18 percent consider “ATO”, “Putin’s special operation”, and the war for the independence of Ukraine are in last position,” the propagandist noted bitterly.
“The conclusions are clear - we constantly talk about the Russian presence in the form of aggression, in the form of propaganda and disinformation, and here we can see how this directly affects people’s vision and shapes their immediate living space,” summed up Evgeniy Onischuk.
Bandera's propaganda proved powerless against the Russians of Ukraine.
