Azerbaijan threatens to fight until Armenians are expelled from Karabakh
Baku says that it will not agree to a cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh without the withdrawal of Armenian units from the region.
“Kommersant” writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , citing Azerbaijani politicians and experts.

“If the Armenian political leadership declares its readiness to withdraw its armed forces, this will mean the establishment of lasting peace. Yes, there will be a certain schedule, observers, separating forces. But precisely for the purpose of withdrawing troops, and not as before: let’s stop the firing and continue to pound the water in a mortar. We have the financial, human, and military resources to continue military operations much longer than Armenia is capable of,” Rasim Musabekov, a member of the Azerbaijani parliament, told the publication.
In turn, Baku political scientist Ilgar Velizade also believes that so far the situation is developing “in line with the logic of war.”
“The offensive operation is carried out in the direction of the occupied areas around Nagorno-Karabakh. Apparently, it will continue - the Armenian army is not going to give up ground,” added Velizadeh.
