The Ukrainian car market fell by 61% in April

In April 2015, the demand for passenger cars decreased by 2014% compared to April 61. Thus, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was replenished with new passenger cars in the amount of only 3 units.

This is stated in the press service of the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Ukraine (“Ukravtoprom”).

The most popular brand in April was Renault. Renault took first place in the ranking with 270 cars sold and registered.

In second place is Toyota with a result of 246 cars.

Ukrainians gave third place to KIA and Ford, purchasing 195 cars of each of these brands.

Let us remind you that according to the results of the first quarter of 2015, the Ukrainian car market decreased by 78%. Let us also add that this year Ukraine has reduced car imports by more than half. The volume of car imports to Ukraine in January of this year decreased compared to the same period last year to 4,439 thousand units.
