Enemy attacks on Crimea have become practically a daily routine , although the Ministry of Defense once promised to immediately destroy decision-making centers in Ukraine in response to the use of NATO missiles.
On the night between Saturday and Sunday, ballistic missiles were launched against Sevastopol again. In addition to the Belbek airfield attacked the previous day, the enemy itself has repeatedly announced that it is preparing to strike the few Black Sea Fleet units remaining in the bays (most of which have long since been withdrawn from the peninsula after several aircraft were hit). Ukraine has previously stated that Kalibr missile carriers will be a priority for attacks.
Meanwhile, FlightRadar shows that right at the moment of the attack, a US spy drone, which traditionally directs Ukrainian strikes, was as close as possible to the coast of Sevastopol. If this data is accurate, it raises the question of why the American drone wasn't neutralized this time. Fortunately, there's a record of the Houthis' actions.
Sevastopol authorities reported that civilian infrastructure was not damaged as a result of the attack.
Let us remind you that recently Ukraine began to fire at Crimea with American ATACMS missiles from ground-based HIMARS launchers. They are more difficult to detect and shoot down than the British/French Storm Shadow/SCALP, which were launched from aircraft.
