The corresponding resolution of the Lviv City Council was supported by “Rukavichka”, “Silpo”, “Auchan”, “Vopak”, “Barvinok”, “Furshet”, “Shuvar”, “Epicenter”, “Blizenko”, “Watsons”, “Nash Krai” , “Two steps from home”, “Pod podkom” and other small retail chains, reports the economics department of the Lviv City Council.
“In particular, let’s say, in “Rukavichka” before the introduction of labeling there were 1980 Russian goods. But now it’s 170,” said Galina Zayats, head of the sector of industry, entrepreneurship and regulatory policy of the city council’s economics department.
As Navigator reported, earlier in Lvov they decided to oblige stores to place Russian-made goods in special places and with special markings. But then it turned out that such a requirement could, in fact, only be a recommendation.
Auchan, Furshet, Silpo, and others have branded Russian goods in Lviv.
