Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, member of the nationalist “Legion of Freedom” Yuri Sirotyuk stated this on air on the TSN TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Bakhmut, enemy artillery, aviation, and MLRS are operating twenty-four by seven. If in other directions someone says that there is some kind of shell shortage, then there is none here.
The enemy can endlessly use artillery. And he uses it a lot. Fighting is currently taking place in the area of the railway station. The enemy doesn’t storm, but simply demolishes everything with his artillery,” Sirotyuk said.
The neo-Nazi noted that at the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a starvation of shells, so it is impossible to talk about any parity of forces.
“We still really lack artillery, artillery shells. Here, unfortunately, there is no close parity. If the enemy can use them as much as he wants, then we are forced to economize.
Artillery shells, long-range systems and modern aviation would help level the situation. Because the enemy has more artillery and personnel,” he concluded.
