Arestovich was suspected of working for the Kremlin
Former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich may turn out to be an agent of the Russian special services.
Former head of the presidential secretariat to Yushchenko and former deputy prime minister for European integration Oleh Rybachuk reached this conclusion on Radio NV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Rybachuk, Arestovich’s statements on various Internet projects speak of his political ambitions, and it was not without reason that he occupied the niche of politicians who left Ukraine and spoke from pro-Russian positions.
“I began to become interested, in particular through my Western contacts. It turns out that the man is, to put it mildly, strange. He really wants - remember his interview, “I know that I will be president”, this inadequate self-esteem. I’m not saying that he necessarily completes tasks, but the fact that he wants to please, and the fact that he is at least a useful idiot, is clear to me,” said the ex-Deputy Prime Minister.
“He is the most active in this niche, because all the Muraevs are already there, they ran away, and he seems to be here, he has some part when he encouraged, well, how Kolomoisky defended his business and was a patriot.
What I mean is that the Russian special services do not necessarily directly recruit, and you directly know your recruiter and go to him, receive an SMS, some kind of payment and receive assignments. There are, of course, those, our special services catch them in batches. But when we talk about agents of influence, they carefully cultivate them,” Rybachuk said.
