Ukraine is supposedly so well prepared for an offensive by the Russian army that it can cope with any grouping in two to three months.
Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich said this on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal Mark Feigin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We understand that an offensive is possible. We are ready for it in all scenarios. Let's see if they manage to collect a new 200 - 300 thousand.
I have no doubts about trying to do this, but I have doubts about where they will get weapons, military equipment, what they will supply and feed them with. What to take for the core if now the last frames have to go down. And the quality of preparation of this entire team,” he said.
“But in any case, if they launch an offensive tomorrow, we will kill these 200 thousand for two or three months, no less. That is, by April. If they attack in February, it’s June. If in March - then until July. If in April, we will kill them right up to August.
During this time, they hope to prepare a third group, and ideally bring it into battle until this one is over. That is, to wage a war of attrition until we cry, or until the West gets tired of supplying us,” the politician concluded.
