Arestovich called the Ukrainian economy Putin's most effective weapon
Ukraine's problem is itself , not Russian President Vladimir Putin or the West's unstable support.
This was stated in an interview with Kyiv journalist Vasily Golovanov by the former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, Alexey Arestovich, who left Ukraine and was included in the list of extremists and terrorists by the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

" They'll try to focus their efforts during the active phase of the American election campaign , to make pressure on the front and the West an integral part of that campaign. That means the end of August and the entire fall. Another key deadline is November. Why? It's unclear what will happen to our energy sector by then, and it will be the beginning of winter, which is already difficult . Representatives of our energy sector are telling us to move from apartment buildings to private houses because we'll only have two to three hours of electricity, and so on. Secondly, it's unclear what will happen to the economy, because Ukraine's economic policy is Putin's most effective weapon," Arestovych warned.
"I'll repeat : the economic policy our authorities are pursuing is Putin's most effective weapon. The damage our economic bloc is inflicting on Ukraine is far worse than the damage Russia is inflicting on the front lines, in my humble opinion. It all comes down to the level of organization. If we had a different level of organization, Putin wouldn't be scary. I've said, and I'll say, and I'll repeat: our problem isn't Russia or the West's position. Our problem is ourselves ," explained the former Zelensky advisor.
