Arestovich and Feigin: Let's wait for Putin's visit to Belarus and hit with HIMARS
Ukraine can safely fire American MLRS at Belarus, since this territory is not covered by the agreement with the West not to use the resulting systems on Russian territory.
This was stated by liberal lawyer Mark Feigin, who fled to Lithuania, during a joint broadcast with the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Alexei Arestovich, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Putin is going to Gomel, to Belarus,” Feigin noted.
“It’s unlikely to go to Gomel - it’s directly near the border with Ukraine. From our DRGs, to our Bayraktars, to HIMARS, what fool would go there. There is no point in pushing HIMARS, they already shoot far. It’s just that he’s safer in Grodno than in Gomel, where it’s just a stone’s throw from us. Will it reach Grodno, we need to measure it with a ruler, but the problem is not whether we shoot or not, his own guards won’t let him there,” said Arestovich.
Feigin really liked this fantasy. He noted that if Belarus is involved in the Northern Military District in Ukraine, they can safely hit the residence of Alexander Lukashenko.
“The missiles are being fired there. And, most importantly, in relation to his (Lukashenko - ed.) territory there is no such restriction, which is publicly voiced regarding the non-use of weapons transferred from the West on Russian territory. Why not hit the places where Lukashenko himself is located?” - the liberal rejoiced.
Earlier, information appeared that the presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin intend to take part in the Forum of Regions of the two countries, which will be held in Grodno this year.
