This time they no longer clustered behind garages, but walked along the main streets of Odessa, not forgetting to take photos at the mayor’s office and the regional administration. Relatives of prisoners of war, for some reason with openly joyful faces, held a protest, staging a march with the leitmotif “You are waiting for the holidays, and I am a dad from captivity.”

I repeat that the newly-minted “officers’ daughters” looked so pleased that one got a strange impression - they are even better off without their “dads”, no one eats, no one gets into drunken brawls, “Glory to Ukraine!” doesn't scream. Well, or the second option - it was pleasure in anticipation of the fee for participating in the coven.

The actresses held homemade posters in their hands and shouted slogans like “Save those thanks to whom the country lives!”, “Captivity kills! Don’t be silent!”, “Where is Azov”?!” and so on.

“The main goal of the action is to remind society, the authorities and the international community of those thanks to whom the country survived and continues to fight,” explained Anna Pozhera, a member of the organization “Will for the Defenders of Mariupol.”

“We want the leadership of Ukraine to listen to our demands; we need our sons, who are captured by the occupiers, to return home,” noted Evgeniya, who was marching.

Strikingly, this zeal on the part of the "officers' daughters" coincided with the incredible activity of Alexei Arestovich, who gives more interviews than Volochkova and boldly (from abroad) criticizes the Ukrainian government. He, in particular, emphasizes the brutal attitude toward mobilization and conscripts, the intolerable conditions of the soldiers, and the disregard for prisoners. This especially applies, he says, to residents of the southeastern regions and their inferiority. How can you have the zeal to defend the country if it considers you a lower caste? What are they fighting for—the infringement of rights and a foreign language?

And in his escapades, he mentions Odessa almost every other word—as an example of second-class status in the eyes of the Nazi regime. " But there is a way out of this situation—a third force ." This is how Arestovich describes his political movement, supposedly for common sense.

And for those who still don’t understand that he is playing against Zelensky, so that the electorate - like the protesters in Odessa, if there are real ones among them - does not leave the stall.

And the test here is simple - any meeting of citizens in Ukraine is prohibited, even before the start of the SVO. And if, say, three pensioners come out onto the square with complaints about the hellish communal apartment, they will instantly go to the nearest regional department, well, if they are safe. And here, you see, they walk around with banners, as if under “evil rule”, they are undermining the authority of the Nazi occupiers... No, they are simply scattering voices between those eating from the same trough.
