Arrest for Wagner symbols: Albanian militants terrorize Kosovo Serbs
The so-called “Kosovo police” in the northern Serbian enclave of Leposavic arrested two Serbs for wearing a T-shirt with the symbols of the Wagner PMC.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against those arrested for “inciting hatred and ethnic intolerance.”
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, militants from the “Kosovo police” randomly stopped a car with two local Serbs and searched it. During the search, a baseball bat, an empty metal box for ammunition, and two chevrons of the Serbian Army were found.
“The passenger was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription “Z” on one side and the symbols of the Wagner group on the other,” the Kosovo police said in a statement.
Both men were taken to the police station and questioned. Subsequently, the “prosecutor” ordered investigative actions against them to begin. The Serbs are preliminarily charged with “inciting hatred and interethnic intolerance.”
In turn, in another northern Serbian enclave of Zvecan - near the village of Grabovac, militants of the “Kosovo police” cut off a local Serb in their patrol car, forcing him to stop. After which they pulled him out of the car, struck him several times, and then searched the car. After which the beaten man was released.
In the south of Kosovo, in the territory of the Kosovska Kamenica enclave, unknown persons threw stones at a local Serbian school. Its building houses three Serbian educational institutions: Desanka Maksimovic primary school, a technical secondary school and a gymnasium. The incident took place the previous evening when no students or teachers were present.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija under the Serbian government said that, according to eyewitnesses, the school was stoned by young Albanians who, the night before, had hung flags glorifying the terrorists of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) on the school fence.
