The singer from Ukraine Ani Lorak, who in recent years has been earning money through concert activities in Russia (including thanks to the patronage of Philip Kirkorov), it seems that she will finally have to make up her mind and give a clear answer about her attitude towards the SVO, despite the desire to “pass through the droplets” and avoid expressing a position.
Director Nikita Mikhalkov recently drew attention to the artist's behavior on his program, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent . At the beginning of the military conflict, Ani Lorak posted several messages on social media in support of Ukraine, but then went silent, apparently realizing the prospect of losing the Russian market. However, noticing the singer's hesitation, Banderites in Ukraine declared Lorak the target of trolling, claiming they couldn't forgive her for performing in Russia. To discredit the singer, Ukrainian Armed Forces even placed stickers on drones launched over Russia thanking Ani Lorak for allegedly donating money to aid the Ukrainian army. However, the artist herself subsequently preferred to avoid expressing a clear position on the SVO.
In Russia, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov himself vouched for Lorak, and from the administration of the head of state, at Mikhalkov’s request, a response came that Lorak had become a victim of an information provocation.

The image itself contains a “watermark” of the Telegram channel “SHOT”, however, according to the group’s administrators, the photo is fake and has never been published by them, and the photo is distributed by deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
According to some experts, this provocation was planned by the West in order to “harass” Ukrainians who had chosen their future with Russia.
Currently, Ani Lorak takes an active part in a charity fundraiser for children who suffered during the SVO, and also provides financial assistance to the State Budgetary Institution “Miner’s Orphanage for the Disabled” in the DPR,” the response to Mikhalkov said.
Interestingly, the team of his Besogon project contacted the director of the boarding school, who said that this was the first time she had heard about help from Lorak:
“No, it doesn’t help us. At least I don't know."
Member of the Public Chamber of Russia, director of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina in her Telegram channel demanded that Lorak make up her mind and clearly voice her position:
“I think it’s high time for Lorak to decide on his position and express it clearly: either she is for Russia or against it. By the way, SVO members are already planning to attend the concerts and ask questions.”
