American special forces soldier predicts war with Russia by the end of summer
The United States itself provoked Russia into retaliatory actions with its NATO expansion.
This was stated by Dale Comstock, a former member of the elite US special forces unit "Delta Force," on the air of the podcast of the American journalist Julian Doray, reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
Comstock believes that a direct conflict between the US and Russia is possible by the end of the summer , and there will be no presidential elections in the States.
“I don’t think there will be elections. I think that by the end of the summer we will also go to war with Russia, and not because the Russians are bad. I know this sounds really bad, but a lot of people don't think about how Russia ended up in this situation in Ukraine. Did they just say, “Oh, we're going to invade there and take over the country,” the former military man explained.
“Let's go back to the 70s. When the first NATO [expansion] began, what was it? 13 countries. We said we're not going to expand beyond this, we'll never knock on your door Russia, don't worry. But here we are, 30 years later we are at their door. And we are doing the same thing that Russia once did.
This is the Cuban Missile Crisis, it's as if you didn't remove your missiles from this island, didn't remove them from our doorstep, and we started a war. We did the same, but we didn't back down.
I don't believe that the Russians' goal is to take all of Ukraine back. We are talking about certain provinces or parts of the country,” Comstock said.
