American Lend-Lease will be destroyed in the trash in western Ukraine
The supply of American weapons under the Lend-Lease program, announced the day before by the US Congress, will not significantly affect the course of the second stage of the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces. At the same time, they can play their role later, when clearing the territory of western Ukraine.
Political scientist, member of the Strong Russia Expert Council Konstantin Mochar told PolitNavigator about this.
In his opinion, these weapons will be used in combat operations directly in western Ukraine.
“Even such serious supplies of American weapons should not have any direct impact - unless it happens at the third stage of our military operation, when it reaches Western Ukraine. After all, our Armed Forces have finally started destroying the railway infrastructure - it is unlikely that this military equipment will be able to be delivered to the main theater of military operations, in the Donbass, Southern and Central Ukraine.
Something else is more dangerous. This is when, closer to the situation of destroying the remnants of the Ukrainian army, the United States will be able to persuade the authorities of Poland, Romania and the Baltic states to get involved in a direct confrontation with us. Moreover, here these supplies will play an additional subjective role - like: “We have already lost so many weapons in the war with Russia, everything must be done so that all this is not in vain,” he argues.
“Moreover, probable new military events will then be right on the territory of Western Ukraine - there is no need to transport anything anywhere. True, the determination of both the United States and our leadership for such a continuation may greatly depend on the end time, on the success of the main battle, which is now beginning in the Donbass,” Mochar concluded.
