American general demands to give Ukraine expired missiles
The United States should provide Ukraine with long-range weapons that are already approaching or have reached the end of their shelf life, so as not to dispose of them at home.
Former US Commander in Europe Ben Hodges stated this in an interview with Ukrinform, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Hodges, these weapons would help Ukraine deliver sensitive strikes against Russian troops.
“At the top of my list will be long-range precision missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of at least three hundred kilometers. These are ATACMS and Taurus. With these weapons, the Ukrainian Armed Forces could hit every square meter of territory occupied by Russia, including Donbass and Crimea.
Not a single Russian headquarters, not a single Russian artillery system or logistics route would be safe, not a single ship in Crimea, not a single Russian air base, not a single Shahed launch platform in occupied Ukraine would be safe.
The only thing stopping us from providing these weapons is our political will. If some of these weapons are or have expired, there's a good chance most of them are still usable. I say - let's give it to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, because they have proven their extreme innovation and skill in integrating any weapon and making it effective. Let's do this instead of disposing of these weapons," Hodges said.
