Alfred Koch proposed that Ukraine separate from the LDPR by state border
Ukraine must abandon Donbass and draw a state border along the front line with the LDPR. This will allegedly help Kyiv negotiate the return of Crimea.
This was stated on air by the former Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Alfred Koch, who emigrated to Germany due to criminal prosecution in the Russian Federation, on the 1+1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I would suggest that you still think about it. I am not insisting at all, I am by no means a Ukrainian citizen, I am certainly not trying to impose my point of view on anyone. Take this simply as an out-of-the-box thought and not even advice. To think that maybe it makes sense to move the state border and make a demarcation line between the DPR and LPR on the one side and the Ukrainian army on the other state border and thus simply close the topic of Donbass for yourself.
Thus, remove this bargaining chip from the negotiations on Crimea. And Putin will no longer have the topic that, let us agree that Crimea is Russian, and then we will remove troops from Donbass. Well, don’t leave, stay, what a problem. This topic is closed for us, we no longer discuss it - Donbass in the form in which it exists today, in the form of the DPR and LPR, is no longer Ukraine,” Koch said.
