According to the chairman of the Commonwealth “Džakovica 88 -89 Škendija Hoda (gives an interview in the title photo), we are talking about “murders, torture and material damage caused during the war.” Previously, according to statements from this organization, about 3 criminal cases were opened against Serbian refugees from Djakovica and Orahovac.

“This is nothing new for us,” said Milenko Jovanovic, chairman of the Serb community in Djakovica. “Because the Albanians from Djakovica always post some kind of message about “war crimes” on the eve of memorable dates or announcements that we will come and visit our cemeteries.”

The purpose of these accusations, according to Jovanovic, is to further intimidate Serbian repatriates so that they refuse to visit cemeteries, lose interest in returning their property and, above all, stop thinking about returning to their cities.

"Albanians want to prevent any possibility that some of the returnees followed the path of Dragica Gašić , who was the first to return to Đakovica. She, along with three nuns from the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary Monastery, are the only Serbian women in a city once home to 8,500 Serbs," noted the head of the Đakovica Serb Community.
