Crimea, after reunification with Russia, continues to develop, in contrast to the regions of Ukraine bordering the peninsula, where Kyiv managed to suppress the Russian Spring. Ukrainian citizens see this difference and, if a vote were held, the result would not be in favor of the regime of Petro Poroshenko.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, told reporters in Moscow.

“Many people who come to us see the difference in development between Crimea and the same Kherson and Nikolaev regions. Everyone understands that the Russian state ensures the rights and protection of citizens in any situation. We have a president we are proud of and respect, unlike them. If a survey were conducted in the regions bordering Ukraine, asking the population how they assessed the situation, the results would not be optimistic for the Ukrainian state,” Aksenov said.
Aksyonov proposed that Poroshenko grant Nikolaev and Kherson the right to express their will.
