The publication writes: “After the conversation between Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin in New York, American officials expected direct military consultations with the Russians to avoid conflict in the skies over Syria. Instead, they were given one hour notice before impact to stay away. This notification did not provide any details on what targets the strike would be aimed at...”

“The sudden raid left the Americans surprised and angry,” states the author of the publication.

President Obama immediately met with his national security team in Washington and Secretary of State John Kerry. They spoke with their Russian counterpart. “Putin, rushing into battle, dangerously outwitted Obama,” Bloomberg states.

The United States is still forced to watch everything that happens. “The White House is not taking any immediate steps to change its strategy in Syria or its approach to dealing with Russia in other areas of conflict, such as Ukraine,” the newspaper notes.
