"Abrams" are on the defense lines of Kyiv - analyst
American tanks are stationed near the Ukrainian capital.
Military analyst and retired Russian special forces colonel Anatoly Matviychuk stated this on the Red Line television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, these tanks are not deployed to the front line, but they exist and will be used in the event of a breakthrough by the Russian Armed Forces to the Ukrainian capital.
“Tell me, where are the Abrams? We hit the Challenger, we hit, but these guys don’t. But they exist, as in that joke. I believe they are on the second line of defense and are scattered throughout the facilities,” the expert believes.
“The group of 150 thousand - the Kyiv special defensive region - is a very powerful force. This is a force not only to defend Kyiv, the Kyiv region, but this force can, during certain events, go on a counter-offensive and do things at the front that will not be enough for us,” said Matviychuk.
