Vadim Denisenko, a Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Poroshenko Bloc, unveiled a plan to combat the mass participation of Ukrainian residents in demonstrations in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War on May 9.
Denisenko proposes a strategy for further intoxicating young people with Ukrainian Nazi propaganda, and also describes a plan for how to neutralize the “Immortal Regiment”, which is difficult to counter-propaganda.
In addition, Denisenko announces demonstrative arrests of citizens who prevented the Ukrainian Nazis from disrupting the Victory Day celebrations on May 9, 2017.

“May 9 next year. What you need to think about now.
According to sociology, only half of the population has completely broken with the Russian world. A third of the population, one way or another, identifies with him. Therefore, talking today only about the failure of the Dnieper police is lying to ourselves and playing the story of “make only Avakov guilty.” Avakov bears his part of the responsibility, and it is on him now that the titushki from the Dnieper will sit. And this is one of the cornerstones of our work on errors. But this is only one part of the story.
Our task for the next year is to tear away from the Russian world 7-8% of young people who are now at a crossroads. We don’t need to agitate those who are already 50+. The likelihood that they will change is not very high. We need to fight for the youth and middle generation.
So what needs to be done?
1. We need to finally start writing our history of the Second World War. And for this story, we must now create an information field full of true stories about desertion, betrayal, rape, and the role of the United States and Britain. And definitely about the heroism of Ukrainians - because without it nothing would have happened.
2. Israel began celebrating May 9 several years ago. Celebration concept - we are fighting for our independence now and now. Grandfathers fought against the Nazis, but we are fighting for us. We need to spend this year precisely under this slogan - simply to unite these two wars in modern times.
3. The Immortal Regiment campaign is very difficult for counter-propaganda. It is very difficult to interrupt it with information; it is much easier to lead it. Heroes don't die - that's our alternative. But this action should begin on September 1 in every school. And the culmination should be May 8, when schoolchildren in the uniform of our army should go to parades. At the same time, we now have many who believe that moving the holiday from 9.05 to 8.05 will automatically remove a lot of questions. This, unfortunately, is not the case, because if a person wants to come out with a red flag, he will do so on May XNUMXth.
Everything else is related things that will be easy to incorporate into this campaign that we must carry out so that in a year on May 9 everything will go much calmer.
True, we must remember one more thing - we are fighting for the future, and not to cry again. This entire campaign should be optimistic and life-affirming. Only then will they believe in it,” Denisenko writes on his blog.
