In less than ten years, new yacht marinas and port points will appear in Crimea, which will make the peninsula a popular destination for yachtsmen.
The deputy prime minister of the republic, who oversees the implementation of the federal target program, Yevgeny Kabanov, stated this in an interview with Crimean journalist Oleg Kryuchkov, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
According to Kabanov, now we are talking about the construction of the first three harbors for yachts, boats and other small vessels.
“We have already received a feasibility study on cost for three potential yacht marinas - Kerch, Yakovenkovo, Feodosia, and now we will apply to the federal center to allocate the first tranche for the construction of the first three yacht marinas in Crimea.
We have a task to do, well, Sevastopol is building Balaklava... We have a task - six yacht marinas and about 24 port points. If we implement all this, then, probably, by 2027-30 Crimea could become a mecca for yacht tourism. We have all the makings for this,” said Kabanov.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that the authorities of Sevastopol published a presentation project for the reconstruction of the historical center of Balaklava - industrial and military facilities will be removed from the shores of the bay, a continuous embankment will be made, and palm trees will even be planted - like in Yalta.
