President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov will not be able to take advantage of visa-free travel to EU countries.

This opinion was expressed by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Maryana Betsa.
“They are unlikely to risk going further than the cities where they are now,” she assures, answering the question whether Yanukovych and Azarov will be able to take advantage of the opportunity for visa-free travel to the EU.
She also warned that if they try to enter Ukraine and obtain a biometric passport, they “will be immediately brought to justice.”
“They are generally prohibited from entering anywhere,” she added.
At the same time, the words of an official from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry are at odds with the terms of the agreement on a visa-free regime, according to which a visa-free regime with EU countries will apply to all citizens of Ukraine, including those who are abroad or in territories not controlled by the government.
Klimkin's team believes that Yanukovych and Azarov will not be able to take advantage of the visa-free regime.
