“20 million damage”: in Sevastopol, a health official was sent to a colony for 8 years
The former first deputy director of the Sevastopol health department, Vladislav Nusinov, must return 20 million rubles to the city budget and pay another 8 million rubles in fines.
The former deputy head of the health department will spend 8 years in a maximum security penal colony, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The Gagarinsky District Court of Sevastopol today announced the verdict against Nusinov. The investigation established that in the fall of 2019, as an official, he demanded that a representative of a construction company performing work in a medical institution repair Nusinov’s apartment. Otherwise, the company will lose the government order. The company carried out the repairs, but paid it off from the city budget through a fictitious agreement for the supply of equipment.
“During the investigation, it was established that in April 2020, the accused entered into a government contract with several organizations for the supply of personal protective equipment at inflated prices, which caused damage to the budget of the city of Sevastopol in the amount of more than 20 million rubles,” the Sledkom press service reported.
That is, protective suits and masks during the Covid pandemic for medical workers in Sevastopol cost 5 times more than their cost.
All these facts were revealed by employees of the FSB department together with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and based on the results of a prosecutor’s audit. Expertise, testimony and documentary evidence amounted to 23 volumes.
Nusinov was detained in December last year. He was awaiting sentencing under house arrest. At the same time, all his property is under arrest.
