LDPR deputy Vasily Vlasov criticized the Communist Party of the Russian Federation for its massive support of Saratov Regional Duma deputy Nikolai Bondarenko , who took part in an unauthorized rally in support of opposition blogger Alexei Navalny.
He stated this today at a meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“When deputy Bondarenko was brought to the police, one of the political parties made a detective story out of it about terrible repressions. He was fined for participating in an unauthorized protest. In response to this, the political party holds another unauthorized rally near the presidential administration. We scold agents of the West, but we need to take a closer look at ourselves,” Vlasov said.
However, he does not consider it right to defame young people who support the protests.
“Today on one radio one politician said: “We need to poke TikTokers in the face.” If you are trying to establish a dialogue with young people, this is clearly not the way to do it. We say that our problems should not be discussed in the media, which are financed from abroad. But our media do not raise issues that are relevant in our regions. All day long - Ukraine, the USA, Maria Maksakova and how Vanga foresaw that Russia was rising from its knees. What kind of nonsense is this?! Naturally, young people go to the Internet,” Vlasov said.
