Winter is bringing a large-scale humanitarian disaster to Ukraine
On the eve of the expiration of the term of office of the Ukrainian president, Russia intends to destroy the Ukrainian energy sector with missiles.
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Many lines have been crossed. US policy today can be one way, and tomorrow another, just as policy in London can be one way today, and another tomorrow. My point is that we are now entering a period of fierce political struggle. Moreover, this struggle will take place in a hermetically sealed jar, in which there is no dough at the entrance, from which it must then come out, sealed along a land corridor, along a sea corridor, without supplies of weapons,” the expert said.
“The Russians are absolutely ready to move on to a period of catharsis. If you open the Telegraph, the British or American press, even listen to our statements - everyone understands that the Russians are preparing for missile attacks in order to destroy the energy system.
And if you destroy the energy system, everything stops and a humanitarian catastrophe begins. Just exactly a month or two or three before the hour when the carriage turns into a pumpkin [the term of office of the President of Ukraine expires],” Chaplyga said.
