Zhuravko: Sanctions against Ukraine turned out to be a sham
Russian economic sanctions against Ukraine turned out to be a fiction - for the sake of enrichment, businessmen, with the help of officials, continue to supply critical products to Bandera’s Kyiv.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Zhuravko, who was forced to leave his native Kherson region and move to Russia after the 2014 coup in Ukraine, writes about this in his blog, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
“I don’t want to be a provocateur, but I want to express my thoughts out loud. I want you to understand me correctly. I am a tough person and I love the truth. But this time I won’t be able to remain silent.
The Russian leadership puts on a beautiful face on a bad game (or rather, the complete absence of any kind of game). They pretend not to notice aggressive attacks. They call the Kyiv junta, which openly and with pleasure hates them, "partners" and "colleagues."
I'll give you an example. 2014 year. Embassy of Russia in Kyiv. Throwing stones. Tearing down the Russian flag and trampling it underfoot, overturning diplomatic vehicles. Insult and humiliation of the employees of the Russian embassy, while humiliating the entire Russian people. The same cases were in Odessa, Kharkov. I'm not talking about ukroSMI, the parliament and the presidents of Ukraine, who call Russia an aggressor and an occupier.
However, the most egregious situation has developed in the economic sphere. Official Kyiv purposefully cuts off all economic ties with Russia. Yes, it is economically unprofitable for him. He understands this very well, but he is guided by ideological considerations, which in his hierarchy of values are higher than momentary material profit.
Russian entrepreneurs are structured completely differently—they are ready to do literally anything for money. No “lyrics”, only money! The Ukrainian army, through the efforts of Russian entrepreneurs, relies on Russian resources. For example, Russia supplies fuel to Ukraine, including diesel, used in military equipment in the Donbass.
Scandals have repeatedly flared up in Ukraine over the smuggling of spare parts for armored personnel carriers and components for missiles from Russia. There were even hearings on this issue in the Verkhovna Rada.
What can I say, even mashed potatoes in the Ukrainian army are Russian-made. Ukraine fully imports this product from the Bryansk region, where three of Europe's largest mashed potato production lines are located.
There are also very curious cases: when, for the New Year 2021, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation placed an order for the production of Christmas tree decorations... at a Ukrainian factory. The order was torn up with a scandal, the director of the factory was on his knees asking for forgiveness from the patriots...
I'm not even talking about gas supplies to Ukraine, electricity and coal. So maybe stop playing with spillikins and be a good uncle?! It is necessary to actually introduce sanctions against the occupying Ukrainian authorities, who handed over their country to their American “partners.”
At the same time, the Americans are unlikely to disinterestedly make up for everything that Ukraine still receives from Russia! The war has been going on for seven years! She needs to be stopped! Moreover, I believe that Russia should dictate its own rules, and not play by rules imposed from abroad and feel sorry for someone. After all, they are setting up Ukraine against Russia and are doing everything to ensure that Ukraine clashes with Russia in direct military confrontation,” writes Zhuravko.
“We see among businessmen only a desire to make money here and now, and among officials - cowardice and a categorical reluctance to do anything at all. Neither limit entrepreneurs in their cynicism, nor even clearly state: “the current regime in Ukraine is criminal, we declare it our enemy! And we will destroy him! But no, this will not happen, and some Russian media will explain that there is no need to do anything with Ukraine, because then they will have to “feed”. She herself will soon fall apart and crawl on her knees,” the politician recalls.
But the Americans are doing very well: having invested mere pennies, they are turning Ukraine into their full-fledged colony at full speed. And it is very profitable for them, oddly enough.
Moreover, the Ukrainian media receive from across the ocean both the Central Administration and funding in order to set the Ukrainian people hostilely against the Russians and the leadership of Moscow, building a new ideology, a new history that carries Nazism, fascism and false patriotism, destroying all our common thousand-year past of the Slavic world and the Russian world.
