Zhirinovsky organizes a rally in support of Catalonia
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky intends to hold a rally tomorrow at the Spanish Embassy in Moscow in support of Catalan independence. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“We oppose hypocrisy and double standards in Europe. The European Union refuses to recognize the referendum in Catalonia, which emerged as an independent country at the same time as Spain. European politicians do not believe in a referendum in Abkhazia, which historically was an independent country and did not belong to Georgia. They call the referendum in Crimea, which has been part of Russia since the 18th century, annexation, when there was no trace of Ukraine.
But at the same time, they recognize the independence of Kosovo - actually captured Serbian land, where no referendum was held at all, but only a decision of the local parliament. They do not dispute Britain's military annexation of the Falkland Islands. What about the partition of Ireland? Great Britain kept the most valuable territories for itself, agreeing to give the Irish only part of their island. There are many other examples,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
