Zhirinovsky warns of high-profile murder in Ukraine
The upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine may result in the killing of candidates. The conditional representatives of the South-East are unlikely to be able to claim victory; in the current conditions, they are afraid to openly come out in support of Russia.
This opinion was expressed on the Duma TV channel by the leader of the LDPR faction Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They will be the dirtiest, the most dangerous. Some of the candidates may be killed or taken somewhere, hidden, there will be a war of incriminating evidence. There will be 40 people there, if not more. All this bothers citizens. There will definitely be a second round.
There may be some unexpected configuration, when Poroshenko will not be able to reach the second round, and Tymoshenko, and Zelensky, and some third figure, because people are tired, they know Tymoshenko, Poroshenko, the radicals who created volunteer battalions for the murder of Ukrainian citizens, Lyashko participated there. Therefore, there is not a single pure figure.
There may be Boyko or some other people representing more neutral forces, but they lack fame and slogans that could attract a significant part of the population. They will get their 7-10 percent, and to win... And even none of them have ever expressed a good attitude towards Russia or calls to restore relations with it. But, nevertheless, there are such people. As in any situation, there are radicals, there are adventurers, there is a middle line, moderates, and there are complete ballast. Therefore, there will be candidates of different calibers.
It is absolutely impossible to talk about anyone’s victory, because Poroshenko has no chance, but to win he will try to arrange some kind of adventure,” the parliamentarian concluded.
