“The hall of mirrors has been restored. They say this is the decoration of this castle, and Marina Poroshenko went to open it. Moreover, not alone, but “accompanied” by Marie Yovanovitch, the US Ambassador to Ukraine,” the Ukrainian political scientist commented on the report.
“We have a very rich history, and today it is beginning to be revived. Thanks to such projects, we restore and preserve the national heritage for future generations,” Marina Poroshenko said during the opening.
Let us note that only journalists were allowed into the hall where the wife of the Ukrainian president was speaking.
“Ordinary people are on a roll,” Semchenko noted.
“You can imagine that it was here that monarchs from many countries in Europe and around the world gathered for celebrations,” said Marina Poroshenko.
“This hall is not for plebeians. Monarchs of many countries - the emperor of the Aztecs, Mayans, China. I don’t even know who was going there, except the Polish king, and even then - at a time when he was not a king,” the political scientist sarcastically commented.
Marina Poroshenko also stated that Honore de Balzac called this palace “Volyn Versailles,” despite the fact that it is the Ternopil region.
The report states that the hall of mirrors was restored with funds from the US Embassy Fund, and, as Semchenko rightly noted, Marie Yovanovitch was the host of the event, and the Poroshenko family, as usual, joined in the merits of others.
At the same time, in the story, the head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration Stepan Barna tried to justify the authorities, saying that the castles were restored not only with American money.
“Ukraine invested 14,5 million hryvnia in the restoration of the castles of the Ternopil region alone, and the United States only 3 million 146 thousand,” said the poet, speaking against the backdrop of the Poroshenko Foundation banner.

At the same time, the American ambassador, unlike Marina Poroshenko, appears at a very limited number of events.
“It is important for us to remember that Ukraine is a part of Europe, sharing many of the architectural and multicultural aspects of Europe,” Marie Yovanovitch said in the story.
